This course provides instruction to speakers of other languages who are classified as less than independent in English. The course content includes practice in the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills and in the understanding of American culture. There is a strong emphasis on vocabulary as a base to allow for advancement in these areas. Materials and worksheets from sources will be included to specifically improve academic English skills for individual student needs. Some activities will happen in small groups, some one-on-one, some with the computer, and some individually.

Primarily for the English Language Learner
This course provides instruction to speakers of other languages, or any enrolled student unfamiliar with American history and government. The course content includes thorough material on topics such as the following: Early Colonial Era, the Founding Fathers, The American Revolution, The Constitution, The Industrial Revolution, and other relevant topics necessary for a solid understanding of American history. There is a strong emphasis on historical figures, terminology, events, and historical documents. Books, articles, videos, audios, and even guest speakers will be utilized for the maximum learning. This course can be with a group or as a private class. There is opportunity to level up in the class if taken as a private student.

This is an 8-week course designed for the student seeking American citizenship. The following topics will be covered: The Constitution (primarily, The Bill of Rights), Local and Federal Government, the major wars in American history, and the pillars of the government, including duties and rights of the citizen. Pre- and post- tests will be given. At the end of the 8 weeks, the student will be able to successfully pass the citizenship test.

One section of the course is primarily designed for the individual already in a place of employment, who needs the necessary English to succeed at his/her job. The 2nd section is for the student who is looking to transition from daily labor to a traditional business setting, like an office, company, organization, where he/she needs more academic jargon for his/her workplace.

This course provides instruction to speakers of other languages who are classified as non-fluent in the Spanish language. The course content includes practice in the development of the Spanish language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In addition, some content will provide a basic understanding of different Hispanic cultures. There is a strong emphasis on vocabulary as a base to allow for advancement in these areas, with the focus on survival language, especially for traveling and business. Materials and worksheets from sources will be included to specifically improve academic Spanish- speaking skills for individual student needs. Some activities will happen in small groups, some one-on-one, some with the computer, and some individually.

This course provides instruction to speakers of other languages who are classified as non-fluent in the Portuguese (Brazilian) language. The course content includes practice in the development of the Portuguese language through listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In addition, some content will provide a basic understanding of different Latino cultures. There is a strong emphasis on vocabulary as a base to allow for advancement in these areas, with the focus on survival language, especially for traveling and business. Materials and worksheets from sources will be included to specifically improve academic Portuguese- speaking skills for individual student needs. Some activities will happen in small groups, some one-on-one, some with the computer, and some individually.

The scope and sequence of the German 101 course is designed to introduce the second- language learner to the elemental structure of German by means of language models, grammatical examples and communicative activities. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed upon development of the four skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing, as well as on expanding insights into the cultures of the German speaking countries. A variety of class activities help the students to achieve effective communication in German language and gradual development of linguistic accuracy. In the interactive learning environment, students experience authentic aspects of personal, family and social life in the target language.

1. Life of Jesus:
This course will present the life of Jesus Christ as depicted in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. As per enrollment, 4 different sections will be offered every semester. These four sections are:

2. Who You are in Christ:
To live an effective Christian life, it is necessary to know and believe who you are in Christ. Understanding your identity in Christ is crucial to live that abundant life that was made possible by Lord Jesus Himself. This course will present Biblical evidence that you truly are a new creation in Christ if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
3. Missions-
This course is built on the premise that every believer should always carry two items: a Bible and a passport. After all, Lord Jesus said in Mark 16:15, “Go into all the world to preach the Good News (Gospel) to all creation.” This course is open to anyone with a heart to serve God, whether that is locally or abroad.

Our art classes are designed for Beginners, intermediates, and Advanced students, with content adapted to each level and group.
Throughout the course, students explore a variety of artistic skills, techniques, and materials while developing their own creative voice.

Creative Expression
The course encourages students to develop their personal artistic style and voice through projects based on themes of their choice, such as nature, portraits, or animation.
